Students attend a series of workshops on school premises. Additional workshops, recording sessions, rehearsal days, production days, education open days and live events are held at a range of venues.
Below is some information about the facilities we are currently using. Members of the BTN team are always on hand at all of our events. All team members have been vetted by Disclosure Scotland and are registered with the Protection of Vunerable Groups Scheme.

The studios have been operating in Glasgow since the year 2000 and have produced works for many local / international artists and production companies including Gary Numan, Tricky, Shaun Ryder, Rico, Seil Lein, Dabster Productions and Sigma Films.
In 2014 the studios relocated to a newly refurbished unit just off George Square. The large control room makes for an excellent teaching environment and hosts some serious analogue and digital equipment along with a number of top class instruments and sound toys to assist you throughout the creative process. These studios are the largest in Scotland and are home to many well known artists such as Biffy Clyro, Mogwai, Simple Minds etc. Berkeley is our first choice for all BTN rehearsal sessions. The facility offers large, well-equipped, air-conditioned rooms, which is ideal for hosting large groups and giving our young students a professional experience.

This 550 capacity live music venue is home to our end of year showcases. Last year’s project saw around 1500 spectators enjoyed 3 nights of performances from over 150 young performers. Gig At The Grand is truly electric experience for all involved. We also host a number of open days, workshops and production days at this centrally located venue.

The Academy is a recognised education facility offering a variety of higher and further education courses in performance and production. Behind The Noise will be hosting many of this year’s workshops at The Academy on Saturdays and Sundays.
